The Return of the Elder Brother
(2006)

Return of the Elder Brother is the story of post-conversion grace.  The natural trajectory of every Christian given enough time is to become a Pharisee.  Legalistic religion is always the easy path.  Jesus dealt with this attitude in the parable of the Prodigal Son.  How tragice the elder brother's words to his father.  "Look!  All these years I've slaved for you ..."  Is it possible that a boy could live in the same family with this incredible patriarch and only see himself as a slave?  We need look no further than our own religion to find the answer.  My dearest wiish for you is that you would find your identity in the house and not in the field, that you would break free from the shackles of legalism and that ultimately you would discover fully this thing calld "abundant life".  This album is about no more or less than that.
