Every Song Has A Story

These devotional thoughts were designed to give added depth to the songs from my recorded music and live performances. I hope the extra scripture readings and commentary make the songs even more applicable to your Christian walk.

Friend, Jesus never said the Christian life would be easy. In fact, He told us not to be surprised if we suffer for His sake. But though we struggle here on earth, God is still in control and an everlasting reward awaits those who are truly His. I challenge you to press on and run the race that Paul described in 1 Corinthians 9. Run in such a way as to win the prize.

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." Num. 6:24-26.

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16
